This place started originally under the Camacho Araya family and still, aiming to have a place where families and neighbors from around were able to celebrate birthdays and all kind of events or simply get out of San Ramon down town to chill. It´s not fuggy or cloudy all the time but when you are treated well, the rest is great and so it happens here with the service and the great meals. Veggie-Meat Lovers-Costarican & Kids friendly menu plus the Snack´s chart.

Gran Hotel

Call: 506-2445-6363 | Address: 1 block South and 2 blocks west from south-west corner of the Central Park
Ok, so I had the recent "pleasure" to stay at the Gran Hotel. It's a convenient, no frills, cheap hotel (motel). The room I got was clean and shared a bathroom which was clean also. The cost was $10,000 ($17.50 us)which was probably a little expensive. The area that the Gran Hotel is in, is close to the central park, bars, restaurants and just about anything else you might need. On my next visit to San Ramon, I will probably look for another place to try but wouldn't rule out staying at the Gran again.

Central Church of San Ramón

Address: Central San Ramon, across from Central park
The Central Church of San Ramón is a beautiful church located in the middle of San Ramon. On my recent visit to San Ramon, I had the pleasure of being with some one that was born and raised in San Ramon, so he knew a lot of history about the church. The story I got was that this church was originally destined for Brazil but ended up in San Ramon because of a mix up. The original church was destroyed by a earthquake in the early 1900's. If your in San Ramon, this is must see.
