We've stayed the Hotel Dunn Inn a couple different times and have always had a great experience. The Hotel is located close to pretty much anything that you might interested in. The rooms are nice and the price is right. I will be staying here again.

I had heard a lot of good things about the Gran Hotel and read a lot of good reviews. When I recently stayed there I really like the architecture and the location. It's close to everything in downtown San Jose. I had a basic room that was reasonably priced. The overall experience was good. However, the staff that I encountered was not very friendly. I would stay here again especially if was just for a night or two.

The OIJ is the detective unit of the police. They do all the criminal investigations. I had to go to the OIJ to file a report about a theft that occurred. It's just like any other public office in Costa Rica, long waits and unorganized. They didn't have anyone on staff that spoke English, so that also slows down the process. Fortunately, I got a file clerk that was eager to try his English and teach me Spanish along the way. So we made it work. My overall experience at the OIJ was not great. However, I think it could
