Hi everyone, I am seeking information about availability on the labour market (web development). More precisely I am interested in knowing if there are really skilled Costa Rican web developers (programmers) and designers (web 2.0 style) available - and if so - in what degree. I know quite a few internet entrepreneurs who could be interested in outsourcing their development department or establishing a complementary team in CR. And I wouldn't mind having a little team of my own either. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Lasse

I don't have first hand knowledge of programmers in CR but I do know that yourville member sherman has development knowledge and probably has local developer contacts. Drop him a note. Additionally I've seen some work from a CR developler Josue Salazar , I would assume that he knows a lot of local developers. I would also be interested any information that you find.

Thanks guys -- and sorry for the late reply! I'm sure atleast one of the guys you mention can give me a pointer or two, but as you can see with my late reply to this post, I'd better wait untill I get to CR, where I will have more time on my hands. Things are really hectic around here. And on top of that it is freezing and snowing. Yack!

No worries, soon you will be dealing with 75 degree (F) temperatures everyday. That will be hard to get use to.
