<>I have been watching Costa Rica change for the last five years or so. I have been a subscriber to the Tico Tims for 5 yrs as well. Have traveled there 4 times so far and my wife and I are ready to consider seriously moveing here. I have been closely watched as they have made small changes to the State insurance program and have not seen much on it lately. Can anybody give information on the status for expats and insurance. I know that the Assoc. of Residents of Costa Rica  used to offer a policy but don"t see it listed anymore.

Thank for your help folks.

I'm not sure about insurance specific for Costa Rica, but I am starting insurance with BUBA ( http://www.bupa-intl.com/index.asp) which is expatriate health insurance.
