- Directions
- Take Interamericana North to San Ramon turnoff, where the new Mall de Occidente is located. Go straight thru town, about 10 blocks or 4 altos (stop signs) after the first (and only) traffic light, where there’s a gas station. At the 4th alto, you'll turn left, go to a light immediately, and turn right. The Hospital is on that corner, on your left. Follow signs that read Villa Blanca, Los Angeles and La Fortuna. There are also signs with a replica of a volcano to follow. After you turn right at the hospital light, you're headed North again out of San Ramon towards the next town, San Juan. About one mile later, right after two speed bumps and a school, there is a Y intersection with a blue/green church, take the left option. Again, follow signs for the above places plus Tabacon. From that corner it's a straight shot to the next town, Los Angeles (Sur). At the church/intersection, you are now 3 or so kilometers from Los Angeles Sur, after a few switchback turns, a couple of hills and a bridge. It's on your left and there a souvenir shop next to the restaurant.

I ended up at this place on a recommendation from a friend. The clouds were real low and you couldn't really enjoy the views of the surrounding area. That's ok though. I ordered the Sea Bass(corvina) with garlic sauce, beans and rice. Delicious. The price was $4,500 which is around $8 (us). They also have a full bar and with lots of space. I sat outside but the majority of the seating is inside. I really enjoyed the food and service here. I'll have to go back one day when the visibility is a bit better.
This place started originally under the Camacho Araya family and still, aiming to have a place where families and neighbors from around were able to celebrate birthdays and all kind of events or simply get out of San Ramon down town to chill. It´s not fuggy or cloudy all the time but when you are treated well, the rest is great and so it happens here with the service and the great meals. Veggie-Meat Lovers-Costarican & Kids friendly menu plus the Snack´s chart.
